Silvia Bigi:
A Very Alive Protocol – participatory performance
20. 7. 2026 at 19:30
A Very Alive Protocol is a participatory performance based on a set of directives generated by a chatbot trained on the writings of the Italian art critic and lecturer Francesca Alinovi (1948–1983). Drawing from essays, notes, interviews and archival materials, the chatbot produces temporary protocols to be enacted collectively.
Participants are invited to engage in a sequence of actions, exchanges and decisions that unfold between human agency and algorithmic mediation. Neither script nor reenactment, the protocols function as open structures whose meaning emerges through their activation. By treating writing as a living system capable of generating new relations, the performance explores how ideas persist beyond individual bodies and continue to circulate through technological, social and collective processes.
